KMS to Showcase WINEFILTERâ„¢ Products at Unified Wine & Grape Symposium
Published Date: January 3, 2012
Koch Membrane Systems, Inc. (KMS) will showcase its WINEFILTER™ products for crossflow microfiltration at the Unified Wine & Grape Symposium, taking place January 24-26 in Sacramento, Calif.

KMS pioneered the use of crossflow membranes in the wine industry with KMS WINEFILTER cartridges and systems, products that are well known for the production of clear, stable, flavorful wines. Crossflow microfiltration can reduce losses from conventional wine filtration processes by as much as 70% and improve overall wine yield by up to 5%. KMS has helped hundreds of wine producers around the world to create premium wines with this customized filtration approach.

KMS will also display its crossflow microfiltration system for the recovery of wine from lees. Ideal for processing streams that contain high levels of suspended solids, this system has been used successfully by producers of both red and white wines and continues to gain in popularity.

The Unified Wine & Grape Symposium is the largest event of its kind in the Western Hemisphere and hosts more than 650 suppliers and 12,200 attendees.
